Also known as Mother's Day to some lucky women 😉

I had a great first Mother's Day. It was relaxed and low key which is just what I wanted! We had breakfast (French toast, mamas choice!) around noon and headed to Emmy's grandmas around two (not before stopping to pick up a cute romper for Em at the Carter's outlet.. Yep, this is what moms do on Mother's Day. Buy their kids clothes). We also got an adorable tutu for Em's cousin Lily who will be visiting from Chicago this weekend for Emmy's "meet the baby" party (since we never got around to having a baby shower!).

We had dinner and spent most of the night fawning over the baby. I made some amazing lemon cupcakes with fresh strawberry icing. To die for. We for home and passed out before even starting on Game of Thrones. That's when you know it was a long day.
