Tonight will be our third night in our new home and it already seems to be everything we've ever wanted (well, maybe except for poor M, who can stand in the clawfoot tub and see right over the shower railing!). But everything else.. the huge windows, the giant kitchen, the old hardwood floors, the garden and patio with a huge grapevine and tiny green grapes, the clothesline, and the washer and dryer.. yeah, it's been years since we lived in a place with laundry.
One of Emmy bird's new favorite spots is the huge window right by our bed. We hang out and watch the birds and the clouds roll by. I love that it's already starting to feel like home.
