Roadtrip

After 30 hours in the car and 23 hours of driving, we made it to Florida safe and sound. This post is definitely a few days late but everything has been a blur of busy since we got here, visiting family, birthday parties, make-up holidays for the ones that we have missed.. And of course some much needed time by the pool. 

I didn't get many photos on the way down because I was either playing with Emmy, sleeping, or driving! We left around 5 PM the night before we arrived and drove until 3 AM, before we slept a few hours in the car and drove the next day. Let me be honest, our first roadtrip with a baby was brutal.. The second day of driving, we had to stop pretty much every half hour, and neither one of us could catch up on sleep since we were busy entertaining Emmy. That being said, we will probably make the trip again, but we'll definitely wait until Emmy is old enough tospend at least some of the trip entertaining herself! 

We apparently have cherry Coke in Canada but I've never been able to find it!

  We let her out the three or four times that we had to stop for gas and let her stretch her legs. It was raining this time so we hung out in the car for a bit.

This place and it's million billboards. I feel like it's an inside joke for everyone who makes the trip past them.
