Today Emmy and I had a tea date with a friend. Emmy slept through the entire thing, and the second we got home she woke up! She's such a great girl to go out with.
Em and I have moments every single day. Is that silly? Today's was very early in the morning. She was so fussy and wouldn't go back to bed, even when she was cuddling with her papa -- which usually sends her right off to sleep. I put her on my chest and quietly told her about the night she was born. And although she didn't understand a word, she quickly fell back asleep to the sound of my voice and my breathing.
