This morning we went down to the train tracks to watch the trains roll by. We have a "special spot" that we found a couple of years ago that is tucked away, surrounded by the trees and a perfect place to watch the trains.
M and I spent many hours here counting the trains roll by in the early days of dating.
This was Emmy's first time to watch the trains. She loves being outside and we loved sharing this special spot with her. It's so full of love for us, full of memories of long walks and talks that easily lasted until dawn.

We watched about four trains go by. Emmy watched the trains so intently every time. She is just learning how to wave and we got her to wave a few times at the trains.
I love fall so much. October is going to be one of the most exciting months for us!
